Students Obligations include not limited to)


  • Respond to Griffin College Staff including trainer’s emails/phone calls as a matter of urgent priority.
  • Update Australia Address/Phone/ Emergency contact details within 7 days after arrival in Australia.
  • Treat all people with fairness and respect and not do anything that could offend, embarrass, or threaten others.
  • Not harass, victimise, discriminate against, or disrupt others.
  • Treat all others and their property with respect.
  • Respect the opinions and backgrounds of others.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures as directed by staff.
  • Report any perceived safety risks as they become known.
  • Not bring into any premises being used for training purposes, any articles or items that may threaten the safety of self or others.
  • Notify us if any of their personal or contact details change.
  • Provide relevant and accurate information to the College in a timely manner.
  • Approach their course with due personal commitment and integrity.
  • Complete all assessment tasks, learning activities and assignments honestly and without plagiarism or infringing on copyright laws.
  • Hand in all assessment tasks, assignments, and other evidence of their work with a completed and signed cover sheet.
  • Make regular contact with their Trainer/Assessor.
  • Prepare appropriately for all assessment tasks, visits, and training sessions
  • Notify us if any difficulties arise as part of their involvement in the program.
  • Notify us if they are unable to attend a training session for any reason at least 12 hours prior to the commencement of the activity.
  • Make payments for their training within agreed timeframes, where relevant.
  • Behaving in a responsible and ethical manner.
  • Treat everyone in the learning environment with respect & courtesy.
  • Attending all scheduled training sessions.
  • Notifying Griffin College's if you are unable to attend any session at soon as possible
  • Pre-read each session's learning materials/assessments prior to attending your scheduled activities.
  • Bring your learning materials with you to scheduled activities.
  • Make yourself available for coaching or mentoring sessions (if deemed necessary).
  • Ensure and acknowledge that all work submitted by you for assessment is your own work.
  • You are responsible for keeping a copy of this written agreement as supplied to you by Griffin College.
  • You are responsible for keeping all receipts of any payments of tuition fees or non-tuition fees.
  • You must while in Australia and studying, notify Griffin College of your contact details including Your current residential address, mobile number, and email address.(b) Who to contact in emergency situations(c) Any changes to those details, within 7 days of the change
  • Satisfy your student visa conditions.
  • Responsible to be a Genuine Temporary Entrant and a Genuine Student as defined by the Department of Home Affairs (HA) and with the primary purpose of Full-time study at Griffin College.
  • Maintain your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the period of your stay in Australia on Australian.
  • Meet the terms of the written agreement with the Griffin College.
  • Maintain satisfactory course progress.
  • Follow the College’s attendance policy as applicable
  • If you have applied for or have been granted residency status in Australia, please advise Griffin College. This offer is not valid for Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, or Australian permanent protection visa holders
  • I have evidence of meeting any conditions of the offer that must be met.
  • responsible for obtaining a student visa (if required) and to meet the Student Visa conditions to permit you to study full-time in Australia for the duration of your study.
  • If you pay for OSHC to Griffin College your details will be forwarded to the OSHC provider or their Agent and you will agree to enter and be subject to the terms and conditions of the OSHC provider. You must update your new details to the OSHC provider. You can seek health Insurance advice on arrival in Australia and Change your OSHC provider/plan as per your circumstances. Griffin College does not provide health insurance (OSHC) advice.
  • turn up in class with the prescribed textbooks, course materials, learning resources, tool kits and appropriate OH&S clothing and equipment (where applicable)
